Overview
Our quarterly magnet mailer was one of the largest print pieces in the business: a 9 to 13 week booklet of deals mailed to customers across all markets. Finalizing mailer quantities required deduplicating loyalty customer signups against EDDM (Every Door Direct Mail) market lists to avoid overlap. This manual process took a team member up to 4 hours per mailer cycle to complete accurately. I identified this recurring bottleneck and built a Python script to automate the entire deduplication process, reducing a 4-hour manual task to approximately 5 minutes and saving the team over 12 hours of manual work annually across three mailer cycles.

- Built a Python script to automate customer data deduplication between loyalty lists and EDDM mailing data
- Integrated loyalty customer data with EDDM mailing lists to eliminate overlap and improve targeting accuracy
- Improved data accuracy and consistency across quarterly direct mail campaigns
