Overview
One of the biggest grocery print pieces was our quarterly direct mailer; 9-13 weeks full of great deals for the customers. One time-consuming portion of finalizing the quantities was to dedupe between our loyalty customers who signed up for the mailer and the markets that we mail via EDDM (every day direct mail). This would take the team 5+ hours to successfully dedupe all of the accounts. I noticed this bottleneck so created a Python script to automate the process.
